Action Research on development of SMEs Evaluation of existing schemes of Government on SMEs. The Institute undertakes research and studies either on its own or sponsored basis and provides consultancy in the areas of small industry and entrepreneurship. The Institute also acts as a catalyst and a resource center for providing various inputs on policy formulation for promoting entrepreneurship and development of small scale industries to the Central and State governments. Another major focus area is evaluation of various Central and State government organisations and schemes.
