| Objective |
The main objective of the
study is to assess the present
scenario of the service industry in the region. It would be
to examine the impact of the service sector in the economy of
the region in terms of manpower utilization, resource
utilization and employment generation. The study would also
make an attempt to look into the transition in the service
sector, particularly in the Northeast in the last decade and
measure the trend of growth. It would identify problems faced
by the people involved in the service industry and would
suggest measures to cope up with these and develop the sector
based on the potential that it holds. |
